Bridging Initiative
Purpose Statement: Recognizing the challenges often faced by new graduates, MMHCA has formed a committee tasked with developing bridging opportunities designed to reduce the difficulties often faced by new professionals. This initiative provides students with early exposure to the industry which increases the likelihood of developing professional relationships prior to graduation, securing internships, supervision, gaining early exposure to job opportunities and training needs after graduation. The Bridging Initiative also acts as a resource for new professionals as they transition into full licensure.
