Mission Statement: The mission of the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association is to develop and empower the mental health counseling profession and promote mental health for the community.
The Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association website is the source for information and news about Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) who provide mental health counseling services in Michigan. MMHCA is the state chapter of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. MMHCA is dedicated to maintaining high standards of ethical practice, educating the general public about mental health issues, advocating for the profession of Mental Health Counseling, and to provide professional development training for Licensed Professional Counselors and Limited Licensed Professional Counselors (LLPC).
The Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association is committed to the advancement of the counseling profession in Michigan, and protecting the Licensed Professional Counselor’s license. MMHCA is dedicated to maintaining high standards of ethical practice and integrity, representation of limited as well as fully licensed professional counselors, and further development of our profession and providing community education on mental health issues.
